Midlands Nutrition is located in Ashburton, in the heart of the Canterbury Plains, in New Zealand's South Island. This position in the agricultural hub of New Zealand, offers the business access to some of the best quality seed grown throughout the country.  And right here on our door step, the Canterbury Plains, the best Hemp and Flaxseed is produced.

Our seed is grown under contract in the Canterbury region, which has a unique soil and climate combination producing some of the world's best oil seeds. Our close working relationship with seed producers, Midlands Seed, means we can ensure that best practice is followed on farms, with a resultant guarantee of quality seed going into the presses.

This full traceability from farm to consumer, is very important particularly for our organic products. The location of our cold pressing Oil Extraction Facility is in close proximity to the seed producing location, allows Midlands Nutrition to press "to order", maximising the freshness and nutritional value of all our oils.
