Ensuring Quality
Quality is paramount, and we are at the top of quality assurance in the New Zealand Honey industry. We believe quality in equals quality out. Testing our honey at each production stage meets tough requirements that we put in place to ensure excellence.
We make no concessions with our Mānuka honey. Every single jar of monofloral Mānuka honey sealed must first pass a rigorous screening process to ensure authenticity, potency, shelf-life, and freshness. This is by no means an easy task; however, our fully integrated production system ensures we can attain these exceptionally high standards of quality.
Extensive Testing
Our experienced in-house lab conducts a wide range of tests to meet your quality standards and those of the domestic and export markets. Independent IANZ-certified laboratories verify tests to ensure our products comply with the most stringent quality standards. Test results are available via a certificate of analysis, validated against Midlands Apiaries and customers’ specifications to ensure compliance with international standards in many markets.
Furthermore, we take our superior standards of quality very seriously, which is why we have employed very stringent Quality Assurance Programmes.

With the added strength of our in-house laboratory, we are in control of every aspect of the production process, which is how we guarantee superior quality. Our purpose-built processing facility operates a HACCP-based Risk Management Programme and is a certified SQF food production facility, licensed and inspected by New Zealand's Ministry of Primary Industry (MPI).
